BUYING GUIDE.

We aim to make buying at auction as enjoyable as possible. Viewing is in the morning prior to afternoon auction. This is your chance to inspect any lots which you may be interested in. This is also the opportunity to ask staff any questions, such as price guides. The next step is registering to bid on any of the items you are interested in. All we need at this stage is your name, address, contact details and some proof of ID. When you will be issued with a bidding number.

ATTENDING THE SALE

This is by far the best way to buy at auction. The excitement of competing for the items which you desire takes some beating. Attending the sale also gives you the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere and also gauge the market.

COMMISSION/ABSENTEE BIDDING

Should you be unable to stay for the sale, but are interested in buying something,. the auctioneer can bid on your behalf. This is commission bidding or absentee bidding. All you have to do is fill in a commission bidding slip with your details, the lots you are interested in and how much you are prepared to pay. The auctioneer will then attempt to buy the items on your behalf as cheaply as possible, subject to reserves and other commission bids.

INTERNET BIDDING

This is where you can bid live with our internet partner www.easyliveauction.com. Simply register with them on their website, to enable you to view our catalogue and lot images. You can then bid live online from anywhere in the world for any of our lots. An extra charge of 3% inc VAT will be charged for this service.

It is the responsibility of the buyers to pay for and collect goods after the sale. For online purchases, a postal quote will be given upon request and will be despatched on completion of bank transfer.
